Morristown Food & Wine Festival

Thursday, June 22nd



St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

70 Maple Avenue, Morristown

The first annual Morristown Food & Wine Festival will take place on June 22nd and is already being dubbed the hottest must-attend event of the summer. Attendees will indulge their culinary cravings with a scrumptious selection of food from Morristown’s best restaurants. Guests over 21 may also enjoy a nice variety of vino and beer sponsored by Cambridge Wines, Oyster Bay, Blue Moon, Terrapin, among others.

To kick off what they hope will be a favorite foodie event for many seasons to come, Morristown Social Events is offering tickets at $40 for the first 100 buyers, $50 for regular buyers and $60 for latecomers. Best of all, individual entry will include food and wine samples, so this is a great bargain. Be sure to check out the great entertainment by Brynn Stanley and vote for your favorite dish before leaving. You’ll also be happy to hear that a portion of the proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Morris County.

Everyone from classic car enthusiasts to hot rod aficionados will love celebrating their hobby at the Cops & Rodders Classic Car Show & Cruise taking place on three separate occasions throughout the summer season. Admission and registration are totally free! Just head downtown to the Morristown Green and park your beauty for all to admire.

Organized by the Morristown Police and PBA Local 43, the event has quickly become a favorite for folks looking for an affordable, fun-filled family outing. Be sure to register your car at the fountain, take in an outdoor meal and browse your neighbors’ prized possessions.

Fairy Day

Sunday, June 25th

The Frelinghuysen Arboretum

Does your little one have a penchant for all things fairy? Everyone can share in their whimsical woodland passion at Fairy Day at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township. Local artists will assist attendees as they create their very own fairy house and garden using all-natural materials to be provided. At only $30 per person, this fanciful craft fair is as charming as they come.

As Fairy Day guests create their elfin wonderlands, organizers will dole out free lemonade and yummy treats. Rest assured that this event is for believers young and old alike, so it’s perfect for a mother-daughter outing or for the entire family. Just be sure to preregister by calling 973-326-7603.
