Pure Pita to Accept Donations for Homeless Shelters
Health Food Restaurant Serves Community as Donation Drop Off Location for Thanksgiving
Hoboken- Montclair- Morristown, New Jersey – September 12, 2017 – Health food restaurant Pure Pita has taken on an important new initiative for Thanksgiving 2017. From September 12th to November 20th, the company will manage their three locations to serve as donation drop off points for Thanksgiving donations to local shelters. When customers make a donation at any location they will receive a free order of hummus as a ‘thank you’ for donating to help your community.
The three locations that Pure Pita will manage donations for will include:
- HOBOKEN – The Hoboken Shelter is accepting donations of towels, soap, coffee, sugar, cereal, Juice, instant potatoes, paper or plastic plates, hot or cold cups, napkins, plastic utensils – especially forks – hand sanitizer, laundry detergent, garbage bags of any size, postage stamps, envelopes, pens, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, wash cloths, underpants, and socks. Socks are considered especially important, as guests to the Hoboken Shelter walk an average of 14 miles per day! - MORRISTOWN – The Market Street Mission in Morristown is accepting donations of canned foods, clothing, toiletries, blankets, backpacks and other supplies to help the hungry and needy. - MONTCLAIR – The Montclair Salvation Army is accepting donations of clothing, nonperishable food and other household items. The drop off location for these donations will be Pure Pita in Montclair and more information on the shelter can be found at http://montclair.salvationarmy.org/montclair/cornerstone-house.
